Who we are
Curly Me! is a 501(c)3) resource for families with child of color, specifically black girls between the ages of 5-14 years. We hold quarterly events and mentoring opportunities to help educate, empower and encourage girls to be their best selves.
OUR CORE VALUES
EDUCATE
We aim to educate our girls on past and current events that have impacted/impact our community. Through events like “Change The World With Her” and our various mentoring opportunites, we introduce other women and men that affecting change in our community. Whether local, national or international, we strive to expose and imparta sense of appreciation and cultrual pride in who they are.
Empower
Through each even or program we want our girls to leave feeling more confident or assured in themselves. We know that feeling confident may be hard for some girls, but we are in this for the long haul.
Encourage
In the end, Curly Me! wants the girls to know that we are always rooting for their success!
