We are also looking for volunteers to help us with the event. If you or anyone you know would like to sign up to volunteer please hit the tab below! We would not be able to make our events a reality with the help of our wonderful volunteers.

Black History Month Open Call

The Leonardo Museum invites Black artists currently living in Utah to submit artwork exploring aspects of Black life and history that are often neglected by Museum narratives. This pop-up exhibition will provide artists an opportunity to critique common themes found in Museum curation, or a chance to fill in the gaps by offering a lived perspective. The Black experience is a rich, multi-faceted tapestry, and this exhibition aims to spotlight the power of individual voices. Artists are also welcome to contact if they are interested in submitting live performance art to be performed during the public reception in February 2024. Accepted pieces will be exhibited from February 2nd, 2024 – March 7th 2024.
