The CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) says menstruation is a natural fact of life and a monthly occurrence for the 1.8 billion girls and non-binary persons of reproductive age. Black Physicians of Utah (BPOU) and Curly Me! have come together to educate and empower young girls, individuals that menstruate, and families regarding menstrual hygiene management (MHM), puberty, and safety.
