Curltastic Bingo Night
We are looking forward to spending time with our families and community for a night of games, food, and education. While playing ice breaker games, attendess will share a heavy selection hors d'oeuvres and soda float station. Attendees will also learn more about our organization and be able to discuss how to stay involved with us and each other. In between sharing we will be playing fun bingo games with amazing prizes.

J.U.M.P. Youth Summit
For our Tweens and Teens
Curly Me! is joining forces with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. for a dynamic event focused on bringing tweens/teens aged 11–18 together for a half day of empowerment, education, and community building. There will be age appropriate workshops and panel discussions tailored to youth and parents. All youth welcomed. Lite breakfast and lunch provided.

May BRAID'd Meeting
This month we will be holding a panel geared towards environmental impact.

High Tea with A Twist
We are thrilled the time has come back for our Annual High Tea With A Twist! So press your favorite summer dress, get your hat and shine your shoes because we are looking to be fabulous in floral, lace, flare, and a dapper time!
No Curly Me! tea would be a tea without an activity. So come ready to and color to Black an dwhite photo of public figures of the past and today. This will be a fun, interactive, and educational time with finger sandwiches, herbal tea, and sweet treats at the end.
This event is tailored to 5-10 year old's, but all are encouraged and welcomed! This is an family/community focused event.

April Loc’d In Networking Session
For our April meeting we will be hosting a mock networking session for the girls. They will learn tools and tricks on how to network and then they will be putting it to practice. We are looking for 25 professionals from the community to participate in out mock networking session. We will be providing hor devours and drinks.

A monthly program for Black girls (11-14 years old) in partnership with The Westside Collaborative and Outdoor Afro. This program is an opportunity for our Black tween girls to get outside.

Humanities Through Ceramic Art Event
Join us for a free discussion based activity Wednesday March 26th at 6 pm. This quick activity helps participants connect exhibit themes to their own life experiences. Spend some time before or after exploring the 5 main exhibits featuring dozens of the best ceramicists in the country!his activity is meant for middle school aged children and older.
You will receive a calendar invite within a day of you signing up for the event.

The topic for this month is Saving Coins: Financial Literacy. Our topic for this month will be centered around the basic of finances and learning how to manage money.

Curly Me! Goes Outside-Snowshoeing
You all know we love to be outside with you…..even in the snow. This is a community and family event. Unfortunately, transportation will not be provided. Please click the button below to either sign up and/or read more about the event! This is for adults and youth 8+.

I Am Series
The "I Am" Series is meant for high school aged youth (13-18 years old) of the African Diaspora to come together and discuss relevant topics happening with them and their community. With the assistance of a licensed mental health professional, we hope youth will be on their way to positively defining their "I Am.." after every discussion.
The "I Am" Series is a collaboration with Curly Me! and I Am organizations. This series is fully virtual.

Change the World with Her
CTWWH is back! We can't wait to see everyone and for our Curly Kids and community to meet professionals and vendors in Utah that represent a variety of backgrounds.

Let's start the new year off with vision with our youth! This event will be great for youth of all ages and backgrounds to remind them to use their vision to help drive them towards a bright future. Refreshments will be provided. All are welcomed.

Loc’d In Sign Ups
Loc’d In is an elevated step to our BRAID’d program. Once a girl turns 14 years old and enters high school, we want to make sure they know they are the leaders of their own path. Through monthly meetings, a group project, mental health support, job/education readiness, and more, we will help girls get ‘Loc’d In’ to life.

November BRAID'd Sleepover
This will be our final BRAID’d meeting of the year that we call Pillows & Puffs. We will have a sleepover in Davis County as a way to wrap up the year and look forward to the year to come.

HBCU Discussion
Come learn from current HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) students and graduates about what it's like to attend an HBCU. Refreshments will be provided.

Curls with a Purpose Fashion Show
A new school year has started and we want encourage our kids to make it great! On Saturday, September 7th we will see young people strut their favorite back-to-school outfit. We want all those who come to cheer our young people on and remind them we support them.

Curly Me! Goes to Silver Lake
This will be an opportunity to get hands-on experiences with outdoor recreation and a chance to meet Smokey the Bear and/or Woodsy. You do not need to attend the the August 10th event, to attend this event.
*Transportation will be provided

August BRAID'd Meeting
The topic for this month is Naturally You. We will have a speaker that will be discussing the importance of mental health, how to have hard conversations with parents and friends, and advocating for self.

Curly Me! Goes Outside
The National Forest Service will be sharing information on fire safety with Smokey the Bear, intro to outdoor recreation, forest animals, and outdoor safety. This event will be the introduction to our trip to Silver Lake on August 24th.
